Scripture Union's Jubilee FunDay

Jubilee FunDay

Not long to go before Scripture Union's Fun Day and we're really looking forward to you and your family joining us for this free afternoon of fun, celebration and fellowship.

Don't miss out

This is an absolute one-off opportunity to bring the breadth of SU’s mission focussed family together and we see it being a great afternoon of Fun, Re-Connection and Celebration. Do join us.

The Fun Day is absolutely free (other than the ice-cream van and similar) and we would love to see the area buzzing with activity and people of all ages. We will have activities for younger children such as a bouncy castle and soft play / ball pit, and a football cage, giant slide and Bucking Bronco for the more adventurous. For the more leisurely there will be a Tea tent and a fringe area to sing old beach choruses with Steve Hutchinson or reminisce with Emlyn Williams and chat about the importance of holidays and missions with the Rt. Rev Paul Butler, SU’s President and Bishop of Durham.

During the afternoon we will try to connect with you those who have served on your events in previous years – including specific time slots for: Primary holidays, Secondary holidays, Beach and Inland Missions, Broads Cruises, Great Wood, and Longbarn & Lagger.  The day will conclude with an informal service at 4pm giving thanks for the past 150 years and looking forward to God continuing to reach the 95% beyond our churches and change the lives of children and young people through SU’s holidays and missions.
