Scripture Union Holiday Fund

We need your help to ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience an SU holiday, regardless of their financial situation.

At a Scripture Union holiday surrounded by faithful witnesses, supported by Christian role models, children and young people can develop their character, nurture their faith and make great friends for life!

Through our network of Holiday Leaders, Mission Enablers, and Faith Guides we are hearing more and more stories of families, who through no fault of their own are just unable to find enough funds to give their child this life-changing experience.

Alicia went on High Tide in the summer of 2022.

‘The activities were really good, and the people so lovely. And the worship was amazing, it really touched me and genuinely changed my life around. Jenni’s talk changed my perspective on my relationship with God and my perspective on life. It’s such a lovely thing to experience and I’d recommend going.’

 

 

Will you help a child grow in their faith on a Scripture Union holiday?

We especially need the certainty of a committed gift so we can know how much financial assistance we can offer in the coming year. We know demand is growing, our workers and volunteers are telling us of the increasing levels of poverty in the areas they serve.

£5 a month will pay for one child’s food and activities while on a SU holiday

£16 a month will enable one child to attend an SU holiday

£40 a month will support all the children with sponsored places on an average holiday

Children with Bible booklets

A gift of £9 could help provide evangelistic booklets for five young people to take home from their SU holiday.

A gift of £35 could help fund one night’s accommodation, food and activities for a child/young person attending an SU holiday.

A gift of £80 could buy half a day of activities at an outdoor centre for a group of four children as part of their SU holiday.
