Scripture Union Malawi have children’s and youth camps running 16–20 December; pray that children and young people will develop closer relationships with Christ. Please also pray for the leaders as they deliver a fun-filled and spiritually challenging programme.

Monday 18

Today, local mission partner, Stort Valley Schools Trust, run Christmas Unwrapped in Bishop’s Stortford and SU’s Geoff Brown is taking an assembly at Bede Academy in Northumberland. Pray that Christian truth will be evident in both.

Tuesday 19

Pray for the holiday and events team in the office as they update the website with next year’s events details.

Wednesday 20

National mission partner Festive who work in Further Education Colleges and Sixth Forms praise God for a threefold increase in student contacts. They support over three hundred student contacts from over two hundred colleges in England and Wales many of whom are running CU’s in their college.

Thursday 21

Pray that even at this stage more churches will catch the vision and support the Christmas campaign to give out The First Christmas storybook sharing the real meaning of Christmas with the 95% of children and young people who don’t know Jesus.

Friday 22

Please pray for staff teams and local mission partners as they continue to explore ways of reaching the 95% where they are, communicating the gospel in a relevant way. The North West region especially ask for new openings in schools and communities.

Saturday 23

Guardians of Ancora is coming to Serbia. Please pray for Amanda Dega, the project manager and translatorin- chief for Skripta (SU Serbia), as the final development work is completed and the app is launched. Give thanks for Amanda’s tenacity and hard work, and pray that the app will have a huge impact on children throughout the country.
