In Pakistan Scripture Union are grateful to God that all their staff and Council members were kept safe when a bomb exploded very near the SU office in Lahore last year. Pray for the continued safety of SU workers in Pakistan and other sensitive areas.

Monday 29
Storytelling Week projects in primary schools in and around Stockport this week are designed to help children see that Jesus is the most amazing storyteller. Pray that as the children engage with the stories of Jesus they will discover something of his love.

Tuesday 30
Pray that many school group leaders will continue to be equipped and resourced through the SchoolsLive website. Pray too for the right developments for the site in the future to make it even more attractive and helpful to users.

Wednesday 31
Shine in Schools provides an opportunity and resources for Christian young people to share Jesus with their friends; pray for wisdom as we review Shine 2017 and make plans for Shine 2018, that we may learn from the past and gain insight for the future.

Thursday 1
Daily Bread and Encounter with God continue to help SU’s mission supporters and others listen to God daily. Please pray that more people will understand the importance of meeting with God like this.

Friday 2
New legislation covering the use and storage of personal information has required major changes in our procedures. Please pray that any outstanding gaps will be identified and resolved, and for our data protection officer Graham Dunn and technical services manager Ian Gooding as they implement the programme.

Saturday 3
Today, Steve Hutchinson is leading X:site Gloucester, and launching the bookings for the popular Lagger Camps for 8–11s.Please pray that children continue to bring their friends who are not part of church to both Xsite and Lagger.
