Praise God for the resourcefulness and dedication of our regional teams in taking the good news of Jesus to children and young people.

Monday 1

At the start of this new year, praise God for the thousands of children and young people like Alex who encountered him through SU missions in 2017. Pray for God to surround them with people who will nurture their faith.

Tuesday 2

Ask God to inspire all those involved in mission with many new ideas, and for wisdom in developing successful concepts already tested.

Wednesday 3

Give thanks for the many lessons we’ve learned so far through developing and running new mission concepts, and that God will keep us open to further learning to make mission even more effective.

Thursday 4

Ask God to bless all the churches and local mission partners who are also pioneering new expressions of mission, so that many more children and young people outside the church get to discover Jesus.

Friday 5

Please pray that those who wouldn’t normally engage in mission may feel inspired to do so. Ask God to guide them in how best to reach out to the young people in their area.

Saturday 6

Many children don’t know about Jesus and struggle to find meaning in their lives. Pray that they will be drawn to missions in their area so that they can encounter the hope that he offers.
