Please pray that God will use the opportunities presented by the Nua Film Series produced by SU in the Republic of Ireland to reach young people in schools and churches all over Ireland during the coming months. Pray for the host of the series, Jonny Somerville, as he continues to promote this unique resource.

Monday 9

Pray that those who attend the northern Training In Schools Work course over the next three days will gain new skills and fresh vision, and for Development Worker Geoff Brown as he leads this.

Tuesday 10

Arwyr Ancora (the Welsh version of Guardians of Ancora) launched in June, to the delight of many children, throughout the country. Pray that the app will become known widely, especially in schools, and that many children will meet Jesus for the first time as they play.

Wednesday 11

Local Mission Partner re:generation in Harrow are currently trying to recruit two new schools workers. Please pray for God to raise up the right candidates for these jobs and that the trustees would be given wisdom as they interview and make decisions.

Thursday 12

Pray for National Mission Partner Festive as they launch new resources this term, including fruitfulness on the Frontline for students, in partnership with LICC. Pray that these resources would be used to inspire and equip students to reach their friends with the gospel.

Friday 13

The Walk, which takes place this weekend, is a residential for 8- to 11-year-olds run by the South East Region. It is packed with activities, sports, fun, games and an opportunity to hear about Jesus and respond to him. Please pray that the children will have an amazing time and go deeper in their journey of faith.

Saturday 14

Pray for the Council as they meet today. This will be the last meeting for President Paul Butler; give thanks for his contribution and pray that today’s gathering will provide helpful and inspiring input to the ministry of Scripture Union.
