Unlimited Story

Following a successful launch in 2019, the team at Unlimited were excited to have plans for a camp in 2020. Sadly, all plans were stopped by COVID. Aware of the impact this would have on the young people, Helen Vinter took Unlimited online.

Unlimited is a holiday for young adults with learning difficulties unable to take on the responsibilities of holiday and mission volunteers, but who still want a connection with Scripture Union.

The team at Unlimited were excited to have plans for another SU holiday in 2020. Sadly, all plans were stopped by COVID. Aware of the impact this had on the young people, Helen Vinter took Unlimited online.

Zoom became the meeting ground with young people connecting in from living rooms and caravans. Bible studies, activities and games, and the all-important Soak the Leader highlight event happened. Young volunteers rose to the challenge of running quizzes and giving talks. It was a great success!

Three males doing group activity

As lockdown eases and society starts opening up again, this summer the team at Unlimited rise to the challenge of two events. One online, and a three-night adventure taking place at Great Wood.

Parents, carers and young people will be able to come together to take part in socially distanced activities, worship and connect with God, and have fun!

Unlimited Online will be running from 2nd to 6th August and Unlimited at Great Wood will be running from 18th to 21st August.
