Havering Schools Team Leader

Are you passionate about seeing children and young people come to know Jesus? Are you skilled at networking and able to coordinate quality Christian work across a London borough?
Graceworks are looking for a worker and coordinator to deliver ministry in schools, share Jesus in accessible ways, and encourage local churches to get involved in what God is doing in schools.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver on-the-ground ministry: RE lessons, assemblies and other intentional work that’s engaging
  • Develop the relationship with existing schools and begin work in schools we aren’t currently in
  • Lead and support a team of interns to help deliver schools work
  • Encourage, equip and collaborate with churches to get involved in their local school
  • Raise the profile of Graceworks through networking, and sharing at services or midweek events

About you

  • Someone who loves Jesus Christ
  • Proven experience working with children and young people
  • A skilled networker, particularly in building relationships with churches and schools
  • An excellent and self-motivated communicator
  • A heart to work with primary and secondary school children
  • Able to lead and inspire a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage their own time well


£20-22k salary plus 3% pension contribution
Two year renewable full-time contract
37.5 hours per week
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
