Christians for Education is a Christian charity based in north Wales whose aim is to encourage churches to develop links with their local schools and colleges. The emphasis is on giving churches a toolkit of ideas and help to assist them in supporting schools and colleges in their locality, whilst also being an encouragement to young people exploring the Christian faith. The work is predominantly in the Prestatyn to Conwy area.
The charity is looking to appoint someone for the equivalent of 12 hours a week to coordinate the work of C4E.
The salary is in line with the voluntary living wage, currently £12 an hour, which is financed by grants and gifts.
It is a genuine occupational requirement for this position that the employee is a practising Christian (Equality Act 2010, schedule 9).
