Scripture Union missions and holiday clubs are an important part of Scripture Union's work as we share the good news of Jesus with children and young people across England and Wales.
Taking place in the school holidays, these missions and holiday clubs are run by passionate volunteers and SU staff who are committed to seeing children and young people discover just how much God loves them and the difference that he can make in their lives.

July / August 2024
>> Potters Bar
Where: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
Cost: Free
This SU Holiday Club is run every summer for children of primary school age with volunteers from all the churches in Potters Bar.
The team are intentional about making the holiday club fun and accessible for children of every faith and none. Ensuring that children are provided with a fun-filled week of activities, storytelling and games, whilst thinking about how faith can play an important part in life's many adventures.

>> Minnis Bay
Where: Minnis Bay, nr Margate
Cost: Free
Minnis Bay, with its reputation for being family-friendly and fun, attracted over 800 children and young people in 2023.
A large team of over 50 talented and passionate volunteers can't wait to see you this summer to celebrate 130 years on the beach, with a programme that includes fantastic activities for all age groups! There will be short Bible stories for younger ones and energetic worship workouts, creative craft challenges and guided prayer times for older children.

Abersoch holiday club has been part of summer in Abersoch for over 100 years!
A thriving seaside village and popular holiday resort in North Wales with beautiful beaches and a stunning mountain backdrop, we love to give everyone the opportunity to hear about Jesus.
We exist to provide fun activities for all the family Bible stories, drama, music, craft, mess, sport, tide fights, BBQ's and lots more!

Nefyn Beach Mission is based primarily in the town of Nefyn. Running in the first two weeks in August, this mission loves getting to know both local people and holidaymakers,
With plenty of activities for young people aged 4-18 years each day, and a number of activites for the whole family, Nefyn Beach Mission exists to see lives changed and nurtured through an encounter with Jesus

A Scripture Union Beach Mission, sharing the Good News of Jesus in Sutton-on-Sea since 1886!
With activities on the beach every morning, then family and age-specific activities each afternoon, the team love to create opportunities to invite children, young people and adults of all ages to explore the difference Jesus can make to the challenges and adventures of life!

With fun-filled age-appropriate activities and family events, this mission attracts local people and holidaymakers. All are welcome!
There are plenty of opportunities to encounter God's Word in relevant ways including drama, storytelling, craft and Bible study. As well as games on the beach, tide fights, challenges and afternoon teas for the adults! And if that's not enough, in the evenings are family events such as film nights and treasure hunts to name but a few!

Perranporth Beach Mission is a key part of summer in Perranporth and has been for over 100 years!
We believe that all people should have the opportunity to hear about Jesus and make their own decision. We love that for two weeks every summer, our team of volunteers run fun and inclusive activities for all ages, to give them that opportunity.
This year’s activities will include BBQs, sports, treasure hunt, sandcastle competition, tide fight.
