Free online seasonal training
Throughout the year we offer free online training sessions to help equip you as you prepare for key times of the year (Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas). These sessions aren't about selling you our latest resources (as good as they may be!) but they are all about training and equipping you to engage with the 95% of under-18s not in church as they Connect, Explore, Respond and Grow in their journey of faith.
To access these free training sessions, you will need to have signed up to receive Mission Support from Scripture Union. Discover more about Mission Support and how, together, we can unlock the full potential of your outreach to children and young people who don't go to church.

Light in the darkness
Journeying with children and young people through the autumn and winter months.
It's a privilege to be able to share the story of Jesus, especially with those children and young people who have never heard it before!
As we head into the autumn and winter months we'll spend some time looking at ways to Connect with the children and young people in your community who don't go to church at Christmastime, but also discover how you can build upon those connections well into the New Year.

*Please note that these sessions will last for 1.5 hours and the same material will be covered on each date. Booking details will be sent via email in the lead-up to your training
Schools Ministry Training
Designed for those new to schools work, this course is aimed at schools workers and church-based youth and children’s workers – both paid and unpaid – as we create space for learning, conversation and networking.
Join us to be equipped and encouraged as you explore schools work in a way that’s relevant for your community.

Scripture Union's Mission Support centres on the application of our Revealing Jesus mission framework, helping you and your church journey effectively with children and young people through each stage of their faith journey – Connect, Explore, Respond and Grow.
*All of our training is provided free of charge. However, we may on occasions need to charge a fee to cover costs (such as venue hire and provision of food) where necessary. Such fees will be kept as low as possible and will be clearly indicated.
