Our vision is to see pupils and staff flourish in school and have the opportunity to explore
Christianity through the provision of pastoral care and curriculum support for RE, PSHE and
RSE in partnership with local churches.
Role: To join the Reach team in developing the work of sharing the Gospel in secondary schools, plus some Year 6 work, in the Greater Reading area.
Hours:
- Term-time only (40 weeks of the year)
- 15 hours per week mainly during school hours
- Hours are flexible and must be agreed with the Ministry Director
Fixed-term contract for one year with a view to offering a permanent position if funding allows.
Salary: £9,000 per annum (£31,200 FTE)

Accountability:
To the Ministry Director of Reach (Reading Schools’ Christian Work Trust).
Workplace:
Reach’s office is in the Tyndale Baptist Church building, Whitley, Reading.
Additional Opportunity:
There is the possibility of extending the job by working 12 hours or more for Tyndale Baptist Church as a youth worker.
