Even for adults who have been following Jesus for their whole life, there are aspects of faith and Christianity that are still difficult to grasp. So, for the 95% of young people in England and Wales who have little or no contact with church, how do we help them understand concepts that might come across as abstract and obscure for them? This resource is here to help answer this question.

Using the right words, sharing your own faith stories and modelling faith in your own actions are but a couple of examples of how Jesus can be introduced to young people without the use of theological jargon or complex ideas that require substantial unpacking and explaining. Most importantly, though, it is remembering that it is God, through the Holy Spirit, who changes hearts and minds – our job is to introduce Jesus to the 95 and let him do the rest!
