Full-time | Central England | Circa £40,000 per annum
We are seeking a Regional Mission Team Leader to provide direction, leadership, vision, and energy to Scripture Union’s Regional Ministry. This will require the person to lead and manage the Regional Team, taking the strategic lead in the recruitment, motivation, training, equipping and supporting of Volunteers/Faith Guides and their churches, including intentionally developing strategies for connecting with UKME communities, as well as modelling of excellent mission delivery to children and young people, consistent with Scripture Union’s mission and approach.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide visionary leadership to the regional team, ensuring high quality ministry development across the region.
- Shape and steer the strategic direction of Scripture Union’s Revealing Jesus Mission Framework in the Central Region.
- Be a committed Christian in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Scripture Union who has an active involvement in the mission of a local church.
- Seek to have a sound biblical understanding that is applied in daily living and encouraged in the lives of others.
- Grow the number of new missional activities and models across the region.
