Amplify

Keeping the message alive

Amplify, first piloted in 2018 to encourage young people to share their faith in Jesus with their friends and peers, is calling for a hundred 11 to 17's to take part in an exciting programme in 2022.

Keeping the message alive

Amplify is a partnership event which Scripture Union together with Youth for Christ, the Church of England, Evangelical Alliance and Hope Together first piloted in 2018 to prepare young evangelists to share their faith. Due to the academy’s growing popularity, with over 80 students attending last year, we want to encourage any young people between the ages of 11 and 17 interested in taking part in Amplify 2022 to speak to their Youth Minister. If your application is successful you can expect to meet regularly online in age-appropriate, adult-led small groups. Next year’s academy includes two residential weekends and optional sessions led by gifted evangelists to help you explore different areas and ways to share your faith.

This popular course is designed to increase young people’s confidence in speaking about Jesus with their friends through Bible-based training, practical advice and support, and aims to bring evangelistic ministry to life.

One of the students from last year expressed his thoughts about Amplify

"I had a greater confidence in sharing my faith and through the programme recognise the call God has placed on my life."

Seventeen-year-old Josh, a former student, whose story is featured on the HopeTogether website, offered these words of encouragement

"I’d definitely recommend Amplify! It… started making me question… false assumptions that people had put in my mind about sharing my faith… I found it was a massive faith boost, as well as learning about evangelism."

Plans are underway to make Amplify 2022 the best yet! Why not encourage a young person you know by signing them up and please pray for all those taking part this year.
