At the end of June over 600 children from local primary schools will descend on Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland. They will be there to take part in Lifepath, a Scripture Union event run by local Christians, that aims to help the children explore the Christian faith in fun and exciting ways. Now in its tenth year, 'Lifepath Brinkburn' has become a regular fixture in the calendar for many of the schools. This year 'Lifepath Brinkburn' runs from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th June 2020, with a set-up day on Sunday 21st June.

The core team, consisting of members of local churches and Christian organisations, have been meeting since January to plan the event. The theme this year is going to be based around the life of St Cuthbert and the place that God's Word had in his life.

Many things have already been sorted out (booking portable toilets, tables, chairs, writing scripts and planning the programme), but there is still much to do. Each day the children will take part in four workshops and the workshop leaders are busy planning these, sourcing equipment and preparing props. 

Lifepath could not take place without a fantastic team of volunteers. They take on the roles of Pilgrim Guides (small group leaders), workshop leaders or support team.
