Potters Bar Holiday Club started in 2017 and has been helping children and young people learn more about Jesus and grow in their faith.
The club is run every summer for children of primary school age with volunteers from all the churches in Potters Bar.
They seek to run a week of activities, storytelling and games, whilst thinking about how faith can play an important part in life's many adventures. They aim to make the holiday club fun and accessible for children of every faith and none.

Making memories, changing lives
Scripture Union started in the late 1860s with one individual who saw an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with children and young people.
Whilst on holiday in Llandudno, North Wales, Josiah Spiers spontaneously held a children’s meeting on the beach. He wrote ‘God is love’ in the sand, and this simple but compelling message attracted the attention of local young people. Through games and stories, Josiah Spiers empowered his young audience to engage with Jesus.
Much has changed since Josiah Spiers, but the big idea is still the same; share the good news of Jesus with the next generation wherever they are!
