I’d like to tell you about a young person named James*. Why? Because thanks to your generosity more children and young people like him will benefit from a life-changing experience on a Scripture Union residential holiday
James, 17, is in foster care and struggles with life.
But his ‘phenomenal’ experience on one of our holidays last summer helped to turn his life around.
James finds it very hard to trust people, but on his SU holiday he found people he could trust – people who could point him towards God – something that his foster carer had been desperately trying to do without success.
The holiday ‘helped change the life of a very lost young person who is now going from strength to strength,’ explains his foster carer. ‘I truly believe James has been touched by God, who is doing great things.’
