ACTS (Active Christianity in Thanet Schools) has an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate
to join and help develop an established mission that seeks to inspire a generation of children and
young people to engage with the Christian Faith and explore its values!
ACTS exists to enable every child in Thanet to hear and experience the Good News of Jesus
Christ from someone who believes it to be true.
ACTS seeks to draw churches together in a Thanet-wide Schools’ ministry that effectively brings
the Good News to the children of Thanet. We want to see transformation in the lives of young
people within our schools, churches, and local community by supporting their emotional, social,
and spiritual development.
We are looking for a passionate individual to grow/develop the already established primary school
programme for ACTS.
Location: Thanet area | Hybrid
Contract: Permanent | Part-time (15-20 hours/week for 40 weeks/year (term-time only). Days
and times can be flexible to accommodate existing commitments
Salary: £9,600 – £13,600 per year (pro-rata). Equivalent to £16–£17/hr (£31,200–£33,150 FTE)
