Join SU Ukraine in praising God for 20 years of running camps at the Vorzel campsite. Please pray for the Bible clubs being held for children and teenagers who were at the Open Bible camps in the summer.

Monday 25

Today, as we reflect on the love of God shown in the Word made flesh, let’s remember those children and young people who know nothing of the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

Tuesday 26

Give thanks for all those who have so faithfully supported us financially over the last year. Pray that as we prepare to enter a new year, God will continue to meet our needs and help us to be wise and responsible stewards.

Wednesday 27

Pray for event leaders as they start to plan for the events next summer. Pray for creative ideas and that God will lead them to the right themes and ways to present these to the children and young people.

Thursday 28

Local mission partner re:generation in Harrow ask us to pray for their two new schools workers Sam Daniel and  Beth Turner. Pray that they settle well into their new jobs and that God will give them vision for how best to grow the work throughout the area.

Friday 29

Lisa Jones, development worker in the South East, asks us to pray that relationships with schools who worked with the team in mission events and activities during the summer will continue to develop, leading to increasingly fruitful partnerships.

Saturday 30

Over the last few years, Scripture Union has been developing, trialling and implementing an effective mission through sports throughout England and Wales. Please pray for Richard Witham, sports mission leader, who works in rural, urban and inner-city contexts with local churches and Christians to help them find ways of sharing faith with children and young people outside of the church.
