'Star at the Stable' led us to church

It's always such an encouragement to have people come and share the way in which God has revealed Himself to them. This happened a couple of weeks ago at a Christmas town fair where our team were running a 'Star at the Stable'. Here is the story of how the nativity story, in it's simplest form, impacted the lives of one family

Christmas market

In the lead up to Christmas our team have been busy helping churches run many 'Star at the Stable' events in the community and at school fairs across Wales. They have seen over 800 children, parents and grandparents dress up, put themselves in the nativity scene and take a photograph.

It was at one of these events where a family approached the team to share their story. Two years previously, they had attended the Christmas market and had seen the 'Star at the Stable' so decided to take part. The whole family dressed up and had a photograph taken by a team member. They left the market and looked forward to receiving their photograph via email in a few days.

The email arrived a few days later. The family were so struck by the photo, and the nativity scene, that they decided to start going along to church and, have since, had their child christened.

So simple. So powerful.
