Children from St. John's Primary School, Blackpool, enjoyed an amazing alternative Halloween party at St John's church, run by Faith Guide, Lauren Platt and filmed by the BBC 'Songs of Praise'.

Recently, children from Class 5 and Class 6 at St. John's Primary School, Blackpool, had lots of fun in an alternative Halloween party run by Faith Guide, Lauren Platt and supported by our North Team Mission Enablers.
The children really enjoyed exploring light in the darkness and learning about who Jesus is. And we were delighted to show just how fun it can be to run an alternative Halloween event!
'The best day ever'
Sarah Davison, Mission Enabler, shares; 'It was such a great opportunity to share our heart to equip Churches to reach the 95 in their areas and showcase some of our SU resources that help to do that. Most of all it was so wonderful to get the chance to work alongside Lauren and see the children explore what it could mean for Jesus to be the Light in their own lives and contexts. One child even described it as 'The best day ever!'
